On Friday the 5th of May, Killowen PS had a special visitor called Bronagh Clerkin from Sign, Rhyme and Shine. The children from Reception, P1, P2 and P3 took part in an engaging and hands on learning experience, during which they sang songs, learnt Makaton signs, participated in dance and movement and they even learned some new Nursery Rhymes. We used parachutes, wriggly snakes and puppets and Miss Quinn's classroom was filled with bubbles and laughter for the duration of the program.
Bronagh thank you so much for visiting our school, I think you can see from the photos that every single child was engaged throughout and had a lot of fun learning all these new things. We hope that you can visit our school again soon!
