As part of our St. Brigid's Day assembly, we were delighted to welcome back Miss. O' Neill and Mrs. Sloan to our school today. We were all treated to a lovely performance of St. Brigid's Cloak by the children from Rec, P1 and P2. The children concluded by singing, 'We Sing a song to Brigid' using Makaton. A sincere thank you to our Foundation Stage staff for their work in preparing the children for this occasion.💐
Miss O Neill then captivated our children with the story of Brigid and her Father's jewelled sword. Following that Mrs. Sloan demonstrated the making of a St. Brigid's Cross.
