Killowen Primary School is flying the flag for the environment after being awarded our first ever Eco-schools award. On Sunday 24th October the flag was successfully raised at 2pm before we all embarked on a range of carnival style eco activities. We enjoyed leaf printing, stone painting, welly boot throwing and Phil’s Farm to name but a few. Massive thanks to our Parent Support Group for all their hard work and dedication and for providing refreshments on the day.
We also bid a fond farewell to our beloved Mrs Cruz. Many thanks to her and her Eco warriors for all their hard work in securing our Eco-school status.
