We were delighted to welcome local author Declan Carville to school today. Declan delivered an inspiring Creative Literacy Workshop for our P3 to P7 pupils.
During his visit, he read a selection of his wonderful books and spoke about the illustrations, many of which are inspired by familiar places in our local area.
The children asked lots of interesting questions and were especially excited to help Declan plan a sequel to his latest book, The Magic Harp. Their ideas and enthusiasm made for an engaging morning.
We are already looking forward to welcoming Declan back in the near future! 📚
