P4/5 pupils channeled their inner Rachel Riley and set about cracking some magic squares.
-what appeared to be a chilled out Friday afternoon numeracy activity gave pupils the chance to discuss and compare their strategies for approaching and solving the problem. Pupils had to demonstrate flexible thinking as well as an ability to use trial and error to refine their approaches.
