P4 and 5 have been learning about Killowen PS in the past as part of their World Around Us work. We were very happy to welcome Mr Mark Brennan, who is a past pupil of Killowen PS. Mr Brennan told the pupils all about life at Killowen PS in the past. I think the children were very happy that they didn't have such cross teachers today and that they didn't have to bring in coal to heat the classroom.
It's wonderful when the children can access the local community to enhance their learning. Thank you very much Mr Brennan for coming in and teaching us about our school in the past. It was great fun.
