It was a most joyous occasion yesterday morning, when our P7 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation from Archbishop Eamon Martin assisted by Fr. Des Mooney.
We would like to thank the choir of Killowen Church, accompanied by Ms. Diane Hughes for their beautiful music.
Afterwards the children's families and friends of Killowen PS were treated to hospitality back in school by our Parents' Support committee. Thank you to Claire, Ellis, Claire and Sean for your organisation yesterday morning.
I would like to thank Mrs. Cunningham and all staff members who contributed to the preparation for this momentous occasion.
