At Killowen, we are proud to give our pupils a voice and the opportunity to take on leadership roles within the school. This year our children have stepped into a range of exciting positions where they can make a difference.
🗣️ The School Council will represent their peers, share ideas to improve school life and work together on projects that matter to pupils.
🌱 The Eco Team will work hard to make our school a greener place by encouraging recycling, reducing waste, conserving energy and looking after our outdoor areas.
💻 The Digital Leaders will support both pupils and staff with technology, sharing their ICT skills and helping everyone use devices safely and responsibly.
🎙️ The Podcast Team will give children a voice beyond the classroom by creating episodes to share news, learning and pupil experiences with the wider school community.
These leadership opportunities help our pupils to develop confidence, teamwork, responsibility and communication skills. We are very proud of our young leaders and look forward to seeing all the positive changes they will bring this year!
