Last week our young scientists were using their senses to predict what they could smell, touch and hear. There were lots of great suggestions from the children.
This week the children were learning about the water cycle. They completed an experiment using shaving foam and water to explore how rain forms. By creating ‘clouds’ with shaving foam and adding drops of coloured water, they watched as the ‘rain’ broke through the clouds, mimicking precipitation in the water cycle.
The children are engaged in learning through hands on experiences.
