On Friday the 16th of September, Primary 5, 6 and 7 class took part in an outdoor shared education trip alongside our partner schools Grange PS and St Nicholas NS. We all travelled to Kilbroney Centre to spend the day with Liz Farnan an Environmental Educator, who was an excellent guide for the day. We worked together in mixed groups to build a shelter in the woods alongside the other schools and as the photos show, it was a lot of work but very rewarding and a fantastic bonding experience. The children built new friendships and worked excellently together to build shelters fit for Kings and Queens. The sun also shone all day long and we then took the opportunity to explore the park and football field in kilbroney centre after lunch, before returning to school.
