We were delighted to welcome Fr. Des to our school today to bless the crosses which were made by Mrs McCourt, Mrs McNally and Miss McElroy. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the tradition of making St Brigid’s crosses and the meaning behind them. Our sincerest thanks to Mr James Brennan and Mr Michael Campbell for gathering the rushes.
