Primary 2/3/4 have been building their investigative skills with a science experiment involving oil, water, food dye and an effervescent tablet.
Pupils identified the equipment and how it was to be used, noted their equipment and labelled their notes, made predictions and recorded their observations. They even offered hypotheses on why things happened and thought about how this connected with observations they had made in everyday life! How clever!!
