Our intrepid Key Worker pupils went on Safari this week trekking through the Great Hall on the hunt for a Gruffalo. They followed a series of animal footprints, which they had to first identify and then measure in order to eliminate them from their search. There was no doubt in the end where our favourite book monster had been hiding! This special World Book Day activity was designed by our Stranmillis Early Years degree student Miss Aoife Garvey who will be on placement in Killowen Primary School until the end of May. Going forward we will be delighted to have Aoife working in our Reception/P1 and P2/3 classes.
