What a day...for a farm visit! 🌞

29th Apr 2026

Today, Foundation Stage had a fantastic school trip to one of our classmate’s farms, where they became farmers for the day. It was an exciting experience that we will all remember! πŸ§‘‍πŸŒΎπŸ‘©‍🌾

In the morning, we got straight to work. We helped feed the lambs and even got to round up and move the sheep across the fields like real farmers. We discovered lots of interesting facts about sheep and cows and heard some great tales and stories about life on the farm.

After a busy morning, we took a well earned break. We sat outside in the warm sunshine and enjoyed a delicious ice cream, whilst looking at the beautiful scenery.

We also met some firefighters on the way who showed us the flashing lights and played the siren, which was very exciting for everyone.

We would like to thank all of our parents who assisted us and a big thank you to the Mark, Ann, James and Louise Brennan for welcoming us onto their farm and giving us such a fun and educational experience.

It was a special day that we will not forget! πŸ’™πŸ’›
